Great for biking and walking, paved in some places but mostly crushed limestone. This is a rails to trails conversion so its fairly level with lots of shade and benches for breaks. Away from vehicle traffic and runs along creek with nice scenery and horse...More

Beautiful trail. Lots of shade. Not very many people on week days. Don't park at the spot at Buckeye St and Linwood Ave. gravel road with steep grade. Treacherous.

We start our walk at different locations and always find something nifty along the way, from a waterfall to a fish pond to a scary tunnel. Beautiful and well maintained trail. We feel lucky to live near the Montour Trail.

Thanks to all the volunteers who make the path a pleasure to be on. It's strange how friendly people can be walking and then back in the parking lot, routine takes over and they slam the door into each other's cars.

An interesting section of the trail with several bridges. The trail traffic isn't too bad through the week. Stop and get a gyro at the Simple Greek if you want to earn back some calories. Definitely downhill from Bethel Park to Peters Township.

I have never needed to rent a bike in Confluence but I have visited this Confluence Cyclery and found them to very nice and offer full service. While you are there check out Sisters Cafe for breakfast.
