This is a beautiful shrine that encourages you to reflect on prayer. The church and chapels brought back many remembrances and I lit candles for friends and family. As a cradle Roman Catholic I treasure the opportunities to visit these holy sites. If you are not Catholic I think you would still enjoy the quiet, the opportunity for reflection and... More

The setting is wonderful, the shrine is so unique with over the top stained glass, tiles, and the alter is something I have never seen before. Open everyday, free of charge and worth some time to see the area.

Amazingly beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Even though we don't speak Polish we came for a Polish mass and it was just amazing. It's a must visit for any Catholic, Polish or not. Come for one of there wonderful feasts with lovely Polish specialties.

We went to visit the shrine the day after the Polish President had been there. This only increased the beauty of the Church since there must have been 500 roses on the altar. We then went to Mass in the lower Church and found more beautiful flowers enhancing that altar. It was a privledge to visit this shrine

Beautiful building. Wonderful festival in September. However, very strange (rude) behavior by mass-goers and officials.

is nice to see Polish people coming together to celebrate their heritage. The church is unbelievably beautiful. Even though it is crowded you have no trouble finding a seat to enjoy the performances. More tenting could have been available for dinning. We were disappointed however in the food. I am Polish and am proud of Polish cooking. The gowamki (... More

Beautiful shrine throughout. Multiple Marian shrines and Pope John Paul relics throughout. We visited during the Polish American Festival and it was a great experience. Unfortunately the cafeteria store closed at 6 pm, otherwise we would have bought some of the traditional foods that they were selling to bring home with us. Nice store in the Visitors Center as well... More
