We keep going back! Love the way things are displayed - some things even hanging from the ceiling! Large and enough to look at that it never seems crowded.

If you are expecting this look and feel like a real museum, you might be disappointed. It looks like a collection of artifacts, the building has a cement coffin look, not impressed at all.

Step back in time and view a large collection of items from a time before technology. Yes, it does exist. Multi level museum does a nice job of displaying items for easy viewing. Kids are amazed at these artifacts. One to two hours would be...More

A wide array of artifacts from Henry Mercer. Most of the items are in the center which opens to each floor. There is an elevator but it is easier to get around via the steps. They also have special exhibits that change every few months.

July 16 2016, was the 100th anniversary, so it was free entry to all of the museums in Doylestown. The Mercer Museum is well worth the normal entry fee. Kids will love it. When I was young 8 to about 10, we had summer camp...More

A very faithful accumulation of artifacts dating from the 19th and 18th centuries. The exhibit focuses upon Bucks County but pertains to life anywhere in the US during that time. The building itself is an amazing labyrinth that has a feel of a castle once...More

The Museum itself was huge and very artsy. The information there was very informative and all the "exhibits" we're interesting. The whole place was 7 floors and each floor was worth the climb haha! Definitely a good stop if you want to spend the day...More

This visit was a surprise. Upon looking for something to do on Google, I happened upon the Mercer Museum website. What intrigued me is the "castle" looking building. We arrived there and were just blown away. First, this place has a special exhibit which at...More

There is an elevator but there are still some steps and narrow walkways. Elevator does not go to lobby so you have a flight of stairs to get to level one where elevator is.
