Teddy Roosevelt declared that this Italian Renaissance-style building was “the handsomest building I ever saw”. Indeed, the State Capitol, with its vaulted dome and grand staircase and the murals and painted floors inside, is thing to behold.

Wow, what great capital building. It looks like they spared no expense building it with top notch material including marble from France and Ireland. Recommend the tour.

Being in my state's Capitol, I wanted to see the water fountain dyed pink for Breast Cancer awareness month. It was absolutely stunning! This was my first visit to the Capitol in any aspect. I'm glad I had the chance to drop by.
