My Wife, 10 year old and me visited the park for the Xmas and New Year's. Candy Lane has changed and it's not those kiosks but Xmas tress you walk through in the park. Some rides open and some food stands open. Super expensive. Overall a fun time. Masks had to be worn due to the Covid issue so that took away from it.

Candy Cane Lane used to be my favorite holiday event. This year it was my last time ever attending. There is no social distancing. People arriving at the park were told at the door to the store that they needed a time code to enter. No one had one and everyone was on their phones scrambling to get one. It was crowded and no one was counting the amount of people who entered. Then the line to enter the park.... People were being pulled out of the line because they did not have the time code to enter even though they had purchased tickets in advance and were directed to the ticket booth where after standing in long lines again they were told that there were no more available times, no refunds on tickets and have a nice day., As my friends did not have a time stamp we all left. So many people who came to visit wasted time and money to be turned away. This was not made clear in the online purchase of tickets and was a big disappointment to many. I will never return again.

Considering that we're all living in the midst of a global pandemic, Hersheypark was managed and run very well. There were stations of hand sanitizer throughout all areas of the park, social distancing was encouraged and "dots" were placed on the ground. Masks were required, and security guards and employees respectfully reminded visitors to wear masks PROPERLY, covering the mouth and nose (when not eating or drinking, of course) at all times. Yes, some of the rides were closed (Great Bear & Super Dooper Looper), but the park was beautifully decorated for the holiday. The most refreshing part of our trip was seeing the Nativity display, and hearing the many Christian Christmas songs played on the loud speaker.

Such a fun theme park! So much bigger than I expected! The Christmas lights were amazing and they played along to music, so cool to sit and watch. Make your own hot chocolate was so good and so much fun! We really enjoyed this theme park. Candymonium probably the smoothest roller coaster I have ever ridden on. Would definitely go back! Also visit Hersheys Chocolate World while you are there!

Clearly this year we were not sure if we would go because of Covid but I am so glad we did. Definitely altered experience from what we are used to but we still enjoyed all our favorite rides, tried some new ones. Hunted down our favorite characters and saw Santa! Yes Saturday is way more crowded than friday (it always is) so be prepared especially with Covid.
