We were given tickets to the Gardens when we checked in at the Hershey lodge. We had to have a timed entrance to the butterfly atrium which was about the only thing you could do at the Gardens in winter and with Covid. The Staff wore masks. The person who gave use the butterfly tour was good.

Went to the Gardens to see what we thought would be a beautiful Christmas display (inside and out). We did the 15 minute tour allowed for the butterfly atrium, the guide was very informative and it was beautiful, but other than that, not much to see. The inside poinsettia display was pretty but small. The outside gardens were not decorated for the holidays. The CandyCane Cottage was viewable by peering through the windows (open weekends only) with no outdoor Christmas decorations visible. We walked around the gardens because it was a beautiful day, but really nothing to see at this time of year. Disappointed for the cost of admission. Upside was we were able to social distance with few in attendance.

Unfortunately, we ended up going on a VERY rainy day. We were able to enjoy the butterfly atrium but found it very warm. With the mask requirements, we were sweating by the time we left. What I saw of the garden looked very nice; disappointed we didn’t get to enjoy it on a dry day.

We used our complimentary tickets from the Hotel Hershey for our first visit to the Gardens. Happy that masks are required when inside; easy to social distance in the very large, uncrowded Gardens. The Butterfly Pavilion was one of the best we've visited. The butterflies were plentiful and of wonderful colors and varieties. Unfortunately, they hustle you out after about 10 minutes even though it was late afternoon and very uncrowded that day. There were some remaining lovely roses still in bloom and a display of mums. However, we were a bit disappointed that there were only a few different colors of mums and all seemed to be one variety--the small bloom pincushion mums.
