So cute - the kids section is awesome. I just wish it was a little cheaper. I would rather there be twice as many people and cost half as much. The butterfly garden is a must - so much fun!

What a wonderful, quaint place to have a pleasant stroll in the gardens, inside and out. Having said that, there's not much to see outside in the winter, as should be expected, but inside, there's plenty to look at. The best part of the gardens is the butterfly atrium. They're plentiful and beautiful, and the guides there have no problem helping you with nay questions. We spent quite a while in there.
As far as the cost, I have to admit that you will get more for your money in the spring and summer, and perhaps even in the fall, but if you're here in the winter, it's still nice to see.

Originally planned a visit to see the decorated Christmas trees (which were beautiful). But then saw they also had a butterfly atrium. They have a coat rack to hand up your coat so you can enter the butterfly atrium that is hot & humid (to mock a tropical paradise for the butterflies). It was so cool to see so many butterflies flying around. There was a very nice lady who was available to answer any questions you had and offered interesting butterfly facts.

It was a wonderful day. The roses in bloom along with the variety of chrysanthemums and the views are amazing as well. With 23 acres to walk, you need to pace yourself.

This is a nice small garden. The specialty is roses, lines and lines of them. The butterfly area is also outstanding.

Small yet amazing botanical garden. The butterfly atrium was so amazing we did it twice. The staff were courteous, helpful, and were notch appreciated. The rose gardens were huge. It was soooo hit but was still a pleasant walk with shaded benches everywhere. We'd recommend it to anyone.

We visited the gardens and butterfly museum with our son, daughter and 13 year old grandson. The gardens are magnificent with many varieties of roses and other plants. The museum is home to a variety of butterflies. You can spend as much time as you like at both areas. There was staff in the butterfly area to answer any questions. We totally enjoyed our experience there.

Last Sunday after a stay at Hershey Lodge and with discount tickets. We visited the Hershey gardens. We did a 10 mins tour with Guide Shirley who very helpful and knowledgeable about the gardens that Milton and his wife made. So beautifully designed and built. From the fountain, Statues , children's garden,Butterfly Atrium and , roses. We met one of horticulturist who was trimming the beautiful white roses. Weather was perfect for a walk in the garden. Remember make time to smell the roses. Definitely would recommend.

Loved this. The rose gardens were beautiful and so many other flowers to see. We have easily spent longer than we did. The butterfly gardens were also fabulous. You kids may not enjoy the butterflies. Many screaming kids freaking out when the butterflies flew by or landed on them. My 16yr old so loved watching them.

We visited the Hershey Gardens before our spa day at the Hershey Hotel and it was such wonderful experience!! Our first stop was the Butterfly Atrium were we witnessed a butterfly emerging from its cocoon! While we were there we met Michael, our guide. He was so friendly and engaging and he knew everything there was to know about butterflies, their habitats and the city of Hershey itself. Before we left the gardens we stopped by the shop to purchase a few souvenirs. As we were talking to a very lovely woman named Elizabeth (who was also very helpful with my questions about air plants) at the register, Michael saw us through the window and came out to speak! He also informed us that he was the photographer for some of the most beautiful pictures of buterflies that I had ever seen that were on sale. Michael made my first visit to the Hershey Gardens a very pleasant experience and set the bar very high for everyone else that I will ever encounter!! :-)
