So much to see and taste. Many ethnic minorities contribute to a vibrant and rich life. There are temples, lots of puerh tea and ancient tea gardens, as well as wonderful places to stay.

We did stay a week in Xishuangbanna in April 2017. We came for the water festival and had a great time! After that we did some trips around the area and loved the tropical and laid back atmosphere of the region.

Very interesting and lots of local culture. It is sadly been ruined by the over development of the Wanda Chinese Company. A lot of unsightly development with a lot of low quality merchants.
