There is parking but it is limited. It closes early so plan your visit ahead. Great if you enjoy hill walks.

Extraordinary beautiful place, but everything closes at 4 pm. After a long tripe you cannot have a drink or some food after 4 pm, nor you can visit inside.

Had a lovely time walking here yesterday, it was raining but didn’t spoil the day. There’s different routes you can take depending on how challenging you want the walk to be or how long you want to be walking for. We took the route down...More

We copped out of the difficult walks and took the Mill walk which started by going up high and came back along the river valley. It was about 3 miles of largely forest/woodland terrain and came across the Gibson Mill about halfway. Refreshments, in a...More

Lovely day out for all the family . Best on a dry sunny day to dip the toes in the water but good to visit all year round . Enjoy !

Lovely woodland walk, crags are a decent walk from the car park, but lovely cafe at the mill to stop off at when you're nearly there.

Our aim of the walk was to get to the river and stepping stones. This was a long and tricky walk with a three year old!!! Once there the children had lots of fun and we took the pram route back to the car.

Not really. You could walk along the road from the car park to the old mill. It’s only used by the occasional vehicle to deliver stuff to the mill and (I think) for disabled parking at the mill itself. Not a bad route but... More
