This theatre has been beautifully restored and is wonderful inside. We have been to plays and musical performances and the sound quality is spot on. There is a cafe that does a fab afternoon tea and it is run by volunteers.

This venue is ideal if you dont like the big multiplex venues. Warm and freindly with an old scool feel.

A lovely 60's cinema/theatre run mainly by volunteers, it has films ,shows and sporting venues. It has a cafe which is open during the day ,there is a bar open during shows but a bit expensive. There is a website at Stockport plaza .co.uk ....More

Went to the Plaza for Back to Bacharach, really great music, the three female singers were very good as was the lead male singer, also the musicians. Music that will live on.We had a singalong.

My great grandchildren have enjoyed another great pantomime at this beautiful theatre and are asking to come again next year. The panto was Aladdin and it was superb. Well done to all concerned in this production.

Booked a treat out for Boxing day afternoon for 9 people, 3 generations aged between 3 and 66. it was a massive hit with all of us. Good old fashioned entertainment in a wonderful location staffed by wonderful people.

There are parking facilities near the plaza, if you are coming from the round about near Stanford house there are three parking areas nearby and their free after 6
