Great customer service

Marian in T5 Club Aspire lounge was amazing. We had a bit of an incident with another member of staff when we first arrived, I explained this to Marian and he was extremely empathetic. He came over to our seating area and apologised then gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco(my partners drink). Marian is a credit to the company and we really appreciate how he treated us. Many thanks

Not really worth the money if you've special dietary needs.

If you want to be certain of gaining entry you need to pre-book and pay but if you want the access as part of the Amex perks you have to take your chances on the day. There was a lady taking names and she was telling everyone there was a 30 minute wait. Once I saw other people were being called who arrived after me I checked and she had moved on to another page and forgot about me!

The menu is accessed via a QR code on your table. Food is ordered in this way too. Food choice was very limited. Pasta, curry or soup. There was also a cheese and crackers option. Soft drinks were self-serve and alcoholic drinks were from the bar which you went to the bar for. I have coeliac disease so the only thing I could have was the soup. I've used Virgin's lounge in the past and they are world's apart. Virgin's is simply amazing.

There is no toilet within the lounge so you need to go back out into the terminal if you need the toilet.

It is a more comfortable way to wait for a flight but I'd not pay the cost as it's not good value for money. It was ok as I wasn't paying as it is one of my Amex perks.

Great lounge with Priority Pass (Amex Members)
Sep 2021
Used this for the first time as Amex Priority Pass and must say it was really good and with spacious seating and table service for complimentary food. As lounges go, this is one of the better ones, and given the extreme times, staff and service very good.

Can improve food range and services

Friendly staff but limited choice of food. Good beverage choice but if u were looking for good variety, this isn’t the lounge for you.

Would have loved of the shower facility were working but apparently were not and no locker facility so you can store your bag and roam around duty free or use the restroom.

Top notch Service by Ruby and staff
Oct 2020 • Family
Ruby was fantastic. COVID closes the Buffett so they’ve got a menu and serve you at your table. Staff was polite and food + drinks perfect for a 3hr sit. Wifi great night complaints.

Not as good as usual

They are doing their best but it is very different. Especially in Inverness airport which was closed and has been for some time. Shame on Brittish airways for not informing its passengers of this

A port in a storm
Jan 2020
I've decided airport lounges are the only way to pass the time waiting for a flight. The din, racket (in more ways than one) and maneuvering for a seat in the concourse or restaurant, at my considerable age are no longer attractive. I'm not sure I'd go a/p lounge for a short-haul flight though.
The lounge wasn't busy (a late flight), and far from the bar/food counter, peaceful and civilised, as was the wine. The food however, I'm sure quite delicious, was not presented in such a way as to tempt.
The winning factor, were the staff, helpful, warm and friendly, reminding you of the airline staff you were about to meet..

Peaceful stay, but food was limited.
Feb 2020
Initially being quite sceptical of the lounge at Heathrow’s terminal 3, I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. With the hustle and bustle of Europe’s second busiest airport, I found Club Aspire to be an escape from that constant noise and abundance of people. The checkin staff asked for my reference number and boarding card in a stylish and modern reception area. The concierge were extremely polite, making sure I felt welcomed into the pre paid lounge. The lounge itself isn’t the biggest bit of space I have seen in an airport, however in the limited capacity of the room, sits a bar, buffet area, rest area, quiet space and the general seating area.

Having paid 29.99 for the experience I was disappointed with the food on offer. From a selection of salad, cheeses and cold meats to pasta and soup, the quality was unfortunately lacking as well as the choice of food available. If you’re looking for a large meal to have whilst using your time in the lounge, this is not the place, however they do state that in their description on the website.

What was lacking in the food department, certainly was made up for in the bar and space. With the choice of unlimited beer, wine and selected spirts I was pleased with the choice on offer and the pleasant bar service. The space to sit and relax was enough as it was not too busy, however I can imagine it can get very crowded very easily on a busy day (I took an evening flight). The views on to the apron of the airport gave good viewings of the aircraft at the gates, and general movements around the airport. In the quite area, each seat was supplied with its own plug and obviously the tranquility of no noise and peacefulness.

In conclusion, if you’re looking to spend the 30 pound on fine dining and an abundance of unlimited drinks I would not recommend Club Aspire, however for travellers in search of a place to relax and get away from the main crowds of terminal 3, this is perfect. With a good selection of beverages plus the opportunity to sip on a cold beer whilst looking at the inner workings of Heathrow, the lounge is good value for money in that sense. Having a relaxed feel with friendly staff, I would suggest getting a place for anyone just wanting to escape the chaos of the airport.

I think this is one of the best lounges to chill in T5. Always quiet food is alright but always enough and good views.
