Purchased some tickets when they were planning to reopen after lockdown easing, sadly it never happened. I havent even been emailed that the place is still closed; we found out once in front of the gate with purely disappointed kids. Till now Im keep on being ignored to get my money back. Every time Im trying to contact them I get a reply they will get back to me asap. And its been like that for 4 months already. If they will ever reopen we defo wont go there anymore. Its not a big amount of money though, but a big shame how they treat customers. We have been there before many times, happy to support local buisness; it looks like the place got locked for good however they still fail to update their customers and supporters.

A real farm
Oct 2020 • Friends
A real farm where you can get close to the animals and feed them.

Reasonably priced (2 adults 3 kids and 5 bags of food £32). Small but enough to see and do for a couple of hours. Muddy if wet and not a lot of inside area so dress warm! Never overcrowded.

Lots of sheep, goats, birds, more sheep, llama things, emus, rabbits, pigs, horses, donkeys.

No inside play while Covid restrictions rule but instead theyre doing a new meet the animals set up. Family groups get to go and handle a few animals (chinchilla, gerbil, chicken thing etc). We loved this and thought it was much better than the bouncey castle noone ever used! Really enjoyed the information from the staff, i genuinely learned a few things.

Sadly i think most people are now conditioned to expect a glorified soft play with some animals when they visit a farm. This is not what you'll get at hounslow urban farm. Its not pretty or posh but the animals look happy and the staff are enthustic for them.

A lovely hidden gem of a farm
Jan 2020 • Family
My friend and I have been visiting this farm for coming up a year with our little ones- the staff are great with kids, the interactions with animals are closely supervised and the events organised are great for families.
I have recommended this farm to so many people who have then enjoyed visiting themselves.

Saddening!
Feb 2020 • Family
Really shocked at how all the animals are kept in such small areas. With the rainy weather we’ve had it was horrible to see a lot of the animals knee deep in mud. Surely there should be contingency plans for the animals in extreme weather conditions? Poor things. ☹️

A great place to visit with family or friends. Lots to see, and they have alpacas too. There are often volunteers who give talks about the animals, sometimes they'll let you handle them too. Have visited this farm since the late 90s. Love it.

Great for kids
Nov 2019
Make sure you all have wellies! It was very wet when we visited, but there are plenty of animals inside and a play area for children, a basic cafe, loos and ample hand washing stations. Plenty of parking. The best time to go is in Spring when the animals have had their babies and the weather is better. Staff appeared happy and knowledgeable and this makes for a great, reasonably priced afternoon out for families. There are shows (eg owls) and you can buy food for the animals.

Had a great time with my girlfriend.
Nov 2019 • Couples
Had a very good time with my girlfriend. We were there for 2 hours, and had a blasting time feeding the animals. The daily events are interesting because you can hold and pet some animals.
The farm is what you should expect of a farm: some mud and some places where the smell is not the best, but for me that's normal and the farm also has various places to clean your hands.
Will definitely come back.

This farm is great for kids but only if they are old enough to appreciate various species of animals. It is an absolute rip off though and we were only there for 30 minutes tops.

Do not waste your money or time!
Oct 2019
We decided to take our 18 month old here for a day out and realised this was a mistake as soon as we got to the animal enclosures.
The animal enclosures are extremely small and very poorly built, some animals like guinea pigs, chinchillas etc are kept in small and dark enclosure which look and smelt like they hadn't been cleaned out in god knows how long and a lot of the animals looked poorly kept and unwell. It was incredibly upsetting to see and the animals couldn't eat our feed quick enough!
The outside enclosures are small, they are muddy and have barely any grass for them and are enclosed using mostly temporary metal fences/scaffolding and most of the animals had any indoor shelter they could use if it was to rain or become cold.
Animals look unwell and unhappy and would advise no one to go here!
