The house is sparsely furnished but the painting are good, The house is dark to protect the painting, but that's about it. It could have more inside and story about it, but that was the only disappointing part. There is a store, toilets and parklands for the kids to run and play. But much gardens but still worth an afternoon... More

There are masses of daffodils at the moment and the Winter Garden is looking lovely especially the clematis climbing up the conifer. The bluebells are starting to emerge. The formal garden looks very neat and tidy.

A great National Trust property hidden away in West London. Great walks around the park land and lakes. Very intresting house but could do with more of it being open. Volunteer guides need to be less intrusive once they have given the basic information. Good tea room and shop as always with NT

Osterley Park is a lovely place to go with the family for a few hours. There are cows and horses, a small farm shop, a very good cafe and National Trust gardens - which unfortunately to charge upon entry.

The guided tour, out of season, was a highlight, an intelligent well-balanced history of the owners, which brought alive how the house evolved and became part of the Trust. We must return when the house is fully open, and learn more. Do make time for the farm shop, on the way down the drive, on the left, selling produce from... More

Called in to go to the tea room in the Stables and have a short walk. the team in the tea room were sooo busy and had nearly run out of cakes etc but seemed to be really keeping going and making customer service a passion even if they were tired.

This beautiful building set in acres of park land is certainly worth a visit. The long hall is a particularly splendid sight and the Tapestries and Etruscan room are second to none. The volunteer support staff are a fount of verbal knowledge that is almost better than the audio guide. We sent a morning here Well worth a visit.

Visited when we stayed with family in Harrow. After a 30 minute drive you go up a long driveway until you get to the farm shop and then the car park. £6 for a car but free if you're an NT member. Now there were 4 adults and 5 children under 7 with 2 babies. I am only reviewing the... More

Lovely gardens, fields and the best bit is the forest trail - our four year old loves it - rope swings, making proper dens from all the broken branches, climbing trees, hopping from tree stump to tree stump. Proper boys outdoors stuff. The Stables cafe is pretty good too - their beef and beetroot soup is delicious and their homemade... More

We were very disappointed with this historic house, above which is the main runway into London Heathrow airport. My wife is partially disabled and it is a long walk from the car park to the house and restaurant. The courtesy transport was irregular, and after a long wait we decided to walk. The main entrance to the house is up... More
