A hill top site with a great deal of historical significance. Tumulii, civil war battleground, mineral mining, stone quarries, arsenic flues, engine houses all feature in an abandoned landscape largely now recycled back to nature.
You can reach the top of Kit hill from the road through Callington. Steep drive to the top obviously, it a hill. Once at the top you will be rewarded with uninterrupted views for miles in all directions. Top place to go on bonfire night...
As the title says, great views and there are a number of walks around there too. If you've children you'll need to keep a good eye on them as there's dog muck everywhere.
