A hill top site with a great deal of historical significance. Tumulii, civil war battleground, mineral mining, stone quarries, arsenic flues, engine houses all feature in an abandoned landscape largely now recycled back to nature.

Fantastic for dog walking and ramblers alike. The place has mining history, fantastic views and personally I love it even when the weather is terrible..it has it's own charm. Misty and eerie at times

You get an all-round vista from the top of Kit Hill, with plaques showing what you're looking at, some nice vegetation to explore. Nice place to take a picnic.

A good walk and great for the dog. It's fairly steep in parts so make sure you have decent shoes and a wind proof jacket.
