What a fantastic afternoon we have just had!! We paid for a guided ' experience' ! That is exactly what we got!! Our ambassador for the visit was Roy. He on his own made the visit so enjoyable and informative. He is a real asset to the company along with his wife who looked after us when we booked in.... More

We are regulars here because our son loves the pancakes with maple syrup. Not the first place you'd think of to take a toddler, but we're always made very welcome. The food is delicious and portions generous. You can't beat ale poured at the brewery. Highly recommended.

I'd just got off the train from London and was taken straight here, both for a brewery tour and for a bit of lunch. The tour is similar to many other brewery tours, with the slight downside that you don't get to go around the Brewhouse itself, although the micro "Small Batch" area is open to the visitor centre and... Informative tour, Tribute is a great seller, but for those who like the darker ale, The mena dhu ?? is an excellent six malt stout. Not cheap but delicious.

Very good tour of the brewery, with good history of the company and a nice free sample drink to finish.

Terrible experience here wouldn't not recommend. The beer is overpriced and cheaper elsewhere. We were really disappointed.

So sorry to know that you were dissatisfied with your visit to the Brewery. Our pricing reflects other licenced establishments in the area, though we can never compete with the supermarkets. The poor service is totally unacceptable and the manager should have been made aware of what you had to endure on the day. Please do contact us on vcoffice@austellbrewery.co.uk... More

I'm starting to consider myself a brewery your veteran these days, and in my experience this is #1. The tour was the most informative, the most entertaining and the most relaxed that I've been on and the quality and variety of the beers during the sampling was out of this world. We even got to meet the master brewer which... More

We experienced the tour on Monday 6 Feb and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Roy was a great guide, knowledgable, entertaining and a character. If Roy gets his way and the brewery memorabilia is displayed as he wants, the tour could be even better. And to cap it all, great bears to sample.
