Mining falls is magnificent. The beautiful drive along the hinterland roads to get to the start of your bush walking is also spectacular. The sheer beauty is demonstrated many times as you wind your way along the gorgeous and relatively easy walking tracks. When you get to witness the falls you'll understand that no matter what superlatives I use here... More

Worth a look - beautiful waterfall - short walk from parking area - toilets and picnic ground - take the 4.5km walk or just look from the large viewing platform - really a lovely spot to relax or explore

Used to visit when I was living in the area. Great picnic area but expect a visit from two rather large goannas looking for scraps. Also bring your swimmers so you can jump into the deep 'rock pool' a natural formation, near the edge of the waterfall - if you dare! Only don't even attempt this when the water is... More

The natural beauty of rainforest almost untouched for millennia makes the trip worthwhile. The falls vary obviously depending on the recent rain. This trip was 3 days before the huge deluge of Cyclone Debbie backlash. (It then gushed). The scenery is excellent and the views superb. There are fairly primitive BBQ facilities, and toilets that are chemical decompose only, so... More

We came here on a Wednesday and it was nice quiet. Very romantic. Would be a nice place to spend half a day and do the trails, take a picnic lunch and enjoy the serenity of it all.

We visited Minyon Falls after many days of rain. It is a good place for small children with an interesting short walk to the falls and stepping stones across the water. You can walk a further 4kms to get to the. Ase of the falls - too challenging for young children but it looked fun.

Minyon Falls blew our minds! The clouds kept changing shape above the tree line and were truly mystical. The falls were flowing powerfully from significant rainfall received over the last week. We did not want to leave. If you love nature and there has been some rain, then this is a must do.

I've been to Minyon Falls many times in my life. I can recommend it to any tourist coming. There's public toilets in the area, places to camp and electric stoves to cook on. It's nicely out of the way of most places and yet still not too far away from civilization. Two things are important to mention here: 1. Please... More

It is not too hard to find the falls, very original place. We see big lizard walking crossing car park. The falls is very high n we only look from top. My leg can't move when I stand next to fence. U can do bush walking here, quite good.

The water was just trickling at the falls, the drive up was actually more beautiful than the destination
