The Back O' Bourke Exhibition Centre provides a wonderful insight into the lives and stories of Bourke and the Back Country of Australia. Enjoy the Exhibition Centre along with Bourke's other attractions such as the Jandra paddleboat, cruising the Darling river and the Back O' Bourke Outback Show, featuring Lachie Cosser and his band of merry animals! A must do experience. Great packages available. Now open!

Lots of reading and some interactive exhibits. Good to see. Shame the cafe is closed. Plenty of parking including for caravans. Shade sails to provide some cover for cars. Tickets available that include the paddlewheel boat (or without).

The lady who greeted us was like a breath of fresh air. She was friendly and gave advice on what to see in town. We decided against the exhibition as at $23 entry per adult, we thought it was a tad expensive.

Great value for money and friendly staff. Exceeds expectations. Quieter in the hotter summer months. Had the whole centre to myself during this period which didn’t bother me at all.

Thank goodness entry is a two day pass as SO much reading to do. No exhibits unfortunately, but lots of video and audio as well as pictures and stories of early settlers. A must see in Bourke. Only a very short drive from town.

You probably need 1.5-2hrs to properly absorb the information available from the exhibition. However, your ticket is valid for 48 hours. Local history is well presented, across several small buildings, linked by short pathways through garden of local flora, in a mix of panels, displays,...More

Back O Bourke can be combined with Jandra Paddle Boat cruise down the Darling. From Memory it's very reasonable. We bought a family pass, so maybe at the most $35. - $45 combined for a couple?
