We visited troughcreek state park. Balanced rock, waterfall and cemetery trail was all nice. The trails were all fairly short. Wear good shoes and check for tics.

This is a GREAT little trail for an afternoon of fun! There's something magical and romantic about this little beauty of a find!! You'll love the suspension bridge, the stream front trail leading to a dear little water fall which has a steep stone trail going straight up to a majestic overlook and massive rock formation!

A very nice state park that has lots of hiking trails with different difficulties, the balanced rock which sits high atop a cliff that fools the site seer into believing they can push it off. The ice cave that while you can't enter it'll give you a chill and some of the best fishing in Pennsylvania. The park has some... More

Definetely not a easy climb but worth the effort for the view, and not to mention some of the smaller waterfalls along the trail.

My family visited over a weekend. It is an absolutely beautiful place with great things to see. The creek area has great views with large rock cliffs. There is a balancing rock, falls, and ice mine. Just walking and relaxing beside the water was so enjoyable. We would definitely return.

This was a awesome walk through the park with a trail leading through the creeks, over a suspension bridge, photos in front of rainbow falls and an awesome balance rock that looks like its going to fall off the cliff. Looking forward to returning

This park is beautiful and the hiking is a lot of fun. Just be careful if you hike Brumbaugh Trail, though! Apparently part of it wonders outside of the state park area and is not maintained. The trail markers got fainter and fainter and eventually we lost the trail altogether. We were there in early spring and the trail was... More
