Trudie from First Feet Dive Shop was my guide for a beautiful dive on a Monday morning. The marine life was varied and prolific and it is a very easy to reach location. Great for snorkelling - but go just before high tide for safety and the best views. This marine park is also great for snorkelling

This reserve offers the chance to have a quality dive with a lot of marine life. We have seen many fish species and you can hand feed the many bream that follow you around. Also have seen sea turtles, dolphins and the sponge beds here. Be careful and only snorkel if you are a comptent swimmer and enter the water... More

This park is close to the water and has facilities for a barbeque or a picnic. It has a skateboarding area for the teens and play equipment for the younger kids. You can swim at the beach, it is very tranquil. There is parking close to the beach which is free! There is usually a fair now during the Summer... More

I am so lucky to live just 800 meters from there. White Sandy Beach, Beautiful Sunsets across the Bay, & Crystal Clear water to swim. There is a Marina with all amenities, food, & shopping just 5 minutes walk away, with a Childrens Playground with shade sails, Picnic Tables with BBQ'S, Adult Gym Stations, Skate Board Park & Shady Parkland... Fly Point is full of natural beauty. The area remains somewhat untouched and each visit is different from the next about what natural wonder you may see. The snorkelling is a favourite activity but their are things for everyone land based and water based.

Good secluded cove for snorkelling, lots of fish and octopus. There are sand beds and sea grass areas, bring bread to attract more fish.

Whats not to like about Fly Point - love swimming here my favourite spot and also a lot of other people think so too. Showers and toilets across the road which is good for family and children. Nice sand and shallow water good for young toddlers to play and swim in. Diving and snorkelling is also popular in this area.... More

My boyfriend and I wanted to check out the snorkel sites in Port Stephens but the swell on many beaches deterred us the days we were there. Fly point was probably the cruises and snorkel friendly spot. Nice entry points, lots of families around. We drove to get some food at Salamander Bay first and then ate at a bench... More

Hidden along the coastline is perhaps one of the best diving and snorkeling sites in NSW. The variety of marine fauna and flora is extraordinary. Its free entertainment at its best, but you can only swim there at slack high tide. At other times the tide forma s strong rip current and is not safe for swimmers. I always visit... More
