Perisher Ski resorts is owned by Vail resorts who own quite an impressive range of US/Canada ski Resorts Excellent for learners, Excellent for families though I was solo, families were the dominant group ! I would definitely return. When you’re learning you want to just stick to some tested paths and I did and I am grateful for the groomed... More

I've skied for many years in Europe before moving to Sydney. I knew NSW mountains would be different but I was truly shocked! The weather was a little sketchy the first couple of days with snow deteriorating. Then we had a fantastic 24 hours of heavy snow, despite this they only kept 1 lift open as they wanted to preserve... More

1st time on a snow mountain! Had enjoyed the scenic chairlift ride while watching skiers roam around. Had so much fun on the toboggan and snow tube!

A long time supporter of Perisher, I have bought a season pass for the last 5 years and have been skiing at Perisher for a good 8-10 years before that. This year, I unfortunately injured my spine and need surgery so won't be able to ski at all!! Perisher refuses to cancel my season pass and is forcing me to... More

While I know you cant control the weather it really sucks when they close down lifts when its slightly windy, which will happen a lot. Other than that, what choices do you really have in Australia :) I have some great videos on my youtube - thedannyblackvlog

My favourite thing about Perisher is it's variety and options available to the individual depending on weather. Even when chairs are down due to high winds you can still access most of the 4 resort areas and some amazing terrain. It is well linked although I can't quite understand how Perisher can run the Summit and Ridge Quads when the... More

We loved Perisher, Smiggins and Blue Cow, this was our first trip to the snow and our family of four loved it. We all had different skiing abilities, hubby and our eldest (8) picked up skiing really well and were off skiing most of the time whilst our youngest (6) and I caught the quad lift up to Mt Perisher... They do a great job keeping the mountain alive. Our visit coincided with exceptional rainfall and the mountain staff do a great job of recovering the mountain.

Just back from a family Spring ski trip. The whole resort stood up very well considering that we haven't had the best conditions and two big rain events, congratulations to the behind the scenes crew who work at night to keep us all skiing. Eyre or an early run at Zali's were probably the pick of runs last week. A... More

The snow coverage is still pretty good at blue cow at Perisher. We boarded down to the pretty valley run (which was not as crowded and has spectacular scenery). It's an awesome green run with lots of space and freedom and great for the beginner intermediate level. Warning, the cafe at the bottom only takes cash but has famous hot... More
