I saw no 4wd on the day I went, which was a huge disappointment as I was looking forward to it. The dolphins were far and few in between and often far away so you can't really see anything. The 4 hour drive each way also took up a huge chunk of the day, which mean less time was spent... More

I don't know how to surf in the water but I did try to surfing on the sand. A place to have lot of fun. We spent almost 3 hours to play sand board. We were so afraid to slice it down to bottom at first time. There is a lower sand dune place that you can practice on it.... More

This place is so much fun to go 4WD'riving! We loved it! We made our own tracks at 8am which was awesome! High tide wasn't really an issue. Keep an eye out through a tide app or website to see how high it's meant to come in. Heaps of stops before the dunes to pull over and let the tires... More

A place of breathtaking beauty and at the same time fun for young and old alike. The thrills of Sandboarding and 4WD exploration...or just chillin doing the pippi twist.

We went on a cold and windy day but the beach is clean white sand. Would love to return on a warmer day

This place keeps on giving it is just so magical like you are the only person ever to have been there! Wether you go 4 wheel driving(access from salt ash) sandboarding, riding a horse or camel or just walk on the dunes at Anna Bay.

These dunes are very cool. Unique place. Felt like being on the moon. We did a sandboarding trip. The ride out to the location was as cool as the sandboarding. Boards are fun. Definitely worth the time / money.

Visit to Sand Dunes while our trip to Nelson bay was more than a cherry on the cake. I couldn't get over the beautiful view of a the sea on one side and sand dunes on other. Apart from scenery, you can enjoy Camel Riding, Quad biking and Sand Boarding. For sand boarding you have to pay somewhere around 20... More
