Awesome view and awesome wines especially the whites
Jun 2021
We are new in the area and are trying everything and this is the best wines we have found in the area by far. Everything was great ! The cheese plate, the view , the decor, the wine, everything. Make sure you taste the sticky and white port- weren't on our taste menu but worth paying to get a state of these or ask for swap . We knew because we have the sticky at Far Meadow table and it was amazing. Enjoy !

Amazing winery with tasting plates
Jan 2021 • Couples
Have been coming here quite often and are always impressed with the constant improvements, in both wine and infrastructure. Get a tasting plate with some friends and enjoy the views.

Warning: Must book use website

From local advertising tourist material the winery opened from 11am. On arrival we are told we needed a booking.

Disappointing 😢

Wine tasting with great views
Feb 2021 • Friends
Tasty wines, knowledgeable staff, picturesque views. What more could you want. It was a rainy day but not much they would do about the weather.
We visited on the weekend and it was busy so make sure you book your tasting in advance.

Wine Tasting With a View
Jan 2021 • Couples
We’d never done wine tasting before but we really enjoyed this. The staff were very friendly. We also had some cheese before hand which was delicious! Well worth making a booking for and the view is beautiful.

Amazing winery with great wines, knowledgeable and friendly staff, an incredible view and they sell cheese plates to picnic with on the hill overlooking the view. A must visit!

Amazing wines!
Nov 2020 • Couples
We stopped here on our way to Jervis Bay and I was very impressed with their beautiful wine selection. The tasting was held in their new tasting room offering incredible views over Shoalhaven River! Rob was fantastic going through the different wines with us and adding a personal
Touch to the experience! Certainly a place to remember for our next visit!

What a difference six months makes! (in a very good way)

Last time we visited Two Figs (March 2020), while we enjoyed the wine and the view, there was only one young lady working her backside off to help all of the customers, while other staff stood around. And the tasting space was okay but small. It was only an "okay" experience, not bad not great - and enhanced a bit with the stunning vista as it sits atop a hill.

This time - wow! We had become members last time, so we booked late Saturday afternoon for a member tasting. When we got there, we were surprised to see the massive extension to the place. Did the COVID stuff, and then we went to stools around a wine barrel. A lovely friendly lady came over (I am kicking myself that I did not get her name), and started us off on the wines.

Let me say this clearly - if you even remotely like their wines (and there is something for everyone), SIGN UP TO BE A MEMBER. To do that, you commit to a delivery of 6 bottles of wine 4 times a year - and you can pick and choose what you want in that 6 pack, and get a 20% discount.

I say that because we got spoilt rotten - about 90 minutes of tasting (I assume this would be a bit less in really busy times, fair enough), and the lady talked to us about the wines and had a good chit-chat as well.

This is not to say the non-members were not treated well, everyone there seemed to really enjoy themselves, but we got a greater choice (the member-only tasting wines are excellent) and more time.

Our only suggestions to Two Figs are (i) to promote the food they have available and perhaps add a bit more. We would have happily paid for a cheese platter as we started getting pretty hungry towards the end. We didn't see the available stuff as it is to your right and slightly behind you when you come in; and (ii) dress the big room up just a little more (but we get that it only recently opened, and Covid means more space less people).

Our suggestions to people wanting to visit: (i) book your tasting, especially if you are a member (some members came in without a booking and were only lucky that we were just leaving as they did; (ii) grab some of the caramelised figs, to die for; and (iii) remember the name of the people helping you so you can write an even better review than this one.

Highly recommended
