Summer time it is busy busy at Thredbo. We had a sleep over on way back from bright. Ian looked after us from the Thredbo Alpine. Had a refreshing swim, shower, a few beers and wine down by the pool, then out for dinner. Next...More

Even in late Spring and early summer there can be snow. Kids loved the entire place from the chairlift and walks, to the village itself and the toboggan course. Great place to visit. Just be aware that Thredbo is a National park with NP fees...More

We have just returned from a 3night stay in a 2 bedroom SC apartment. We booked last minute accommodation. It was a bit pricey compared to other inland destinations, made more so by the fact that we choose something with a parking space. Would still...More

Fantastic village to base your outdoors adventures from. Be sure to book early for accommodation as well as restaurants as this place is very popular in summer. Winter I would imagine even busier. Everything centrally located around the village square as very accessible with walkways....More

A basic inn, with a basic breakfast. A pub open all the time serving huge meals and good drinks. We went up the chairlift and hired snowshoes, a very good day.

Don't bother... accommodation for a premium price was awful. No parking, no lift, no concierge... had to carry our gear up 6 flights of stairs, and no available table at any of their restaurants. Resort is old and in serious need of even the basic...More

Snow in the mountains... No not quite June generally sees the first snowfalls. My wife told me yesterday that walkers in the Snowies were being cautioned about fires! Enjoy the mountains tho! Cheers Roger
