What a surprise Timbertown was! Thought it would be related to timber but we loved the Steam Railway trip and also watching the Bullock Wagons. Fantastic trip back in time! The "village" with its old heritage buildings was also wonderful, the blacksmith shop, the lolly...More

We visited Timbertown on a Monday morning, and were a bit surprised at how quiet it was - we thought we may be the only visitors there! After visiting Timbertown many years ago and talking it up, we were very excited to be there again....More

Timber town was so beautiful. The little village was so gorgeous. The animals were all friendly, the staff was helpful and the steam train ride was fantastic. So much history and the displays were awesome and quite interactive. The price was a bit steep at...More

The $25 admission fee is very steep given that much of the facility is run down. The timber in the buildings is rotting, the gardens overgrown. I would have lived to see it in its prime. The chap the runs the bullock team was the...More

This is a bit expensive at first glance but by the end we thought it well worth it. This is an authentic insight into life in a timber town in the late 1800s and that authenticity is what you pay for. Grab a schedule with...More

$24.50 for an adult, I think under 2 years old is free.
