We had a great time visiting Timbertown. The kids enjoyed riding the steam train and horse carriage. We also tried the pedal boat and watched the bullock demo.. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was lovely..., very spacious and food was reasonably priced, even though choices were quite limited. Overall, it is a great place to take the... More

The day we went it was very quiet, however we had an absolutely fantastic time. The bullocky, and the blacksmith were great, a were the rides on the horse and carriage and the railway. The food and drink prices were very good ( not overpriced), and the pies were the best we had on our whole roadtrip!! Would recommend to... More

Visited with 14 members of the family from 3 up to 70. Lots to see and do for everyone with the highlights being the steam train ride, the blacksmith and the bullocky. Visited outside of school holidays so was very quiet. Interesting to see just how hard life was for the settlers 100+ years ago.

Great value and an excellent day out for families. Go back in time to the 1880s and experience life back in the old days. Train rides, horse and cart rides, a working blacksmith, paddleboats and more. The cafe provided a delicious meal as well. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place. We spent the entire day here with young grandchildren. They loved it immensely. So many things to see and do. At only $25 for adults and cheaper for families it's excellent value. All rides and attractions are covered. The train ride was a favourite. Horse-drawn carriage, paddle boats and so much more. Food is also available.... More
