Learn about the town's history and how they have revitalized from a coal center to tourism. They have been doing it a lot longer than you may think! Staff was very friendly and knowledgable

Wonderful visit to the Museum. Small museum but lots to see. History of Mauch Chunk, Jim Thorpe, Coal Mining, Incline Plain, RR and Lenape Indians. Loved it!!

The video they show is so informative and we love history so we enjoyed seeing all the artifacts and learning about the coal industry's development.

Interesting film, but mostly photos in museum. Modelmofnthe switchback railroad was interesting, showing how it worked.
