Glad you enjoyed your tour of the Old Jail and found it interesting. The young trained guides are not volunteers, but are paid employees. We are delighted to have them work with us. They give great tours of a very interesting Old Jail.

Interesting; but our tour guide was scripted and made nothing exciting. Disappointed too that you can only see the "handprint" from the cell door. Makes you wonder about its authenticity.More

A nice piece of history in Jim Thorpe. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was nice to learn about how things used to be.
