It's a beautiful drive to Hawk Mountain from I-78. We took the trip mid-day on a Sunday and there was good crowd at the parking lot. Tickets are a bit pricey for a family of 6. Our total price was $55. We took the North...More

We are in our early sixties and didn’t have any problem doing the 4.75 mile hike. Took about 3 hours with breaks. Lots of boulders to climb and leap over at the top. Sturdy shoes and good balance a must for older folks or take...More

A short hike over some rocky terrain brings you to the North Overlook, where you can observe the migration of hawks! Educators and Hawk Counters share information about hawks as you look out at soaring hawks and mountain views from an outcropping of rock that...More

I am not a bird guy. I live local and check this out every other year or so just to see if there are any changes. There are not that many trails there, so I would not call it a great hiking place. Nice views,...More

I visited in early November walking along the trail to observe the countryside and try to see some raptors. In the brief two hours I was there I saw probably 15 - 16 different types of hawks. Their sanctuary center is a great place to...More

A great place to see hawks, eagles and vultures up close. There are many knowledgeable guides. Well marked trails lead to the best viewing sites. Best during the Spring and Fall migrations.

Visited strictly for Eagle Day and will definitely be returning to enjoy all the sanctuary has to offer. Beautiful scenery and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Wow. What an awesome place. Scenery spectacular, knowlegable staff and views of landscape perfect. Trails are well marked and vary to suit all ages. Definitively worth a visit in the fall during the annual migration.
