Zane Grey lived here and fished here during the height of his fame, and he really loved the Delaware River! (and Women!) As is pointed out in his many writings and correspondences on display, he had quite the roving eye, he was a funny guy! This place is worth the stop. After visiting here, go south on Scenic Dr. 1/4... More

This is a good stop if you interested in learning a little more about the writer. It's amazing what you could learn. Some beautiful views in surrounding area.

It is an awesome museum. Nestled between the Lackawaxen and the Delaware rivers the Zane Grey museum is a great find. To see the writing space of the writer was really a boon. Most don't know Zane Grey for his fishing, hiking, and camping articles. He wrote a lot of them. This spot along the confluence of these fishing rivers... More

This is a museum maintained and staffed by the National Forest Service. Its exhibits are very informational concerning the author Zane Grey, his wife Dolly and his influence on American culture. It does not take a long time to visit and yet the visitor comes away with a deeper knowledge of the many facets of Mr Grey besides his writings.

We enjoyed touring the grounds and house that Zane Grey wrote some of his books in. The attendee at the museum offers nice stories about his life that we had not read in any travel magazine. You can purchase a few of his books at the museum. The grounds are well kept and it is a nice view of the... More

Part of the Upper Delaware National River, this restored home of Zane Grey is worth the side trip. His writing room, his history and many original copies of his books and the movie posters of the movies he inspired are on display.. nice gift store with reasonable prices, too!

This small museum is worth the time. A great history is held here that my husband and I did not know existed. To visit the entire museum it may only take 30-45 minutes, but it is well laid out and offers an incredible amount of information. My only regret is that my kids were not with me to enjoy this... Very small and quint. This is not Zane Grey's home. His was actually where the parking lot resides. This is his brothers home. It's a nice place to visit and they have an open house once a year. At this time you can visit part of the home at no cost. This is a place for the family and don't... More
