The first mistake we made was not taking a cooler. The choices abound and much of it looks well worth the time you invested. The prices on most things were reasonable. I look forward to visiting when more produce is in season.

Lancaster Central Market is the perfect place to visit for tourists or locals. The Market offers a great variety of home goods and groceries. Fresh produce from local farmers to hand knit quilts, this Market does not disappoint. :)

Love it here. Great array of produce stands, bakeries, and little shops including gifts and coffee spots. Don’t miss the hot pretzels!

More food venues than others. Cute mugs & quilted items. Delicious baked goods, soups, desserts & sandwiches. A few tables @ 'four corners' to sit but quite limited. Not open every day-check schedule. Parking in town expensive....

I "collect" visits to central markets around the world. Lancaster's is small in comparison to some, but delivers all the sights, smells, and experiences that one wants. About half of the stalls are true agricultural market stalls featuring produce and meats. All were fresh-looking and...More
