Nice little shop

Didn't do any tours however the shop is very nice and quaint. Not a lot to choose from but it's a nice stop to see Amish made crafts.

Our trip to "Amish Country" was spur of the moment. No plans, just a little extra time while in Gettysburg so we figured "why not?" We found the Amish Farm and House by chance and I have to say we loved it. While we chose not to do the tour, we visited the shops and loved the area. In today's... More

I highly recommend the bus tour. Our guide was lovely but a little scattered. It could have been because we were the first tour of the day. We saw some beautiful scenery and learned how to spot the Amish home vs typical homes. The Amish store we stopped in sold amazing lemonade and some fabulous baked goods. Their simple way... More

Thank you for your review. Sometimes there are so many things to see and share it may come out a bit out of order. The countryside tours are our most popular. More

We paid for the premium package and loved the 90 minute bus tour. Even though my wife and I grew up in the Lancaster area, we were surprised to see some areas that we had not known of before and to glean insights that we were not aware of. Now, when we have guests come from out of town, we'll... More

Thanks for stopping in. Our boutique stocks many Amish and locally made products. Come back to try one of our bus tours next time you're in the area. There we stop at Amish stands. where they have many more products and you can visit with the Amish crafters in person. More

The history of Amish life is captured wonderfully at this site? We opted for the tour of the house and grounds. All the staff members were so pleasant and friendly!! Talking to any one of them offers the opportunity to ask any questions you might have. Our tour guide, Carol (whose husband was the wood crafter) was so informative and... More

A great farm with a very informative tour. Our tour guide "Arnie" gave us a very in depth look at the life of an Amish family. Everyone on staff at the farm was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely come back here again and bring the children along as their is much for them to do. The price for... More

It was a pretty good tour with Lena the elderly lady. She seemed to know a great bit about amish life & seemed passionate about talking about it. After the tour of the house you can walk around in the back to look at the animals which smelled pretty bad - I also went to the Amish Village which was... More

Our guides are knowledgeable and happy to share their experience with visitors. Our farm is an historic site now an educational farm museum, but does have a large variety of animals. We're sorry if you found the smell unpleasant. We are used to the "country air" here in Lancaster - sometimes neighboring farms are fertilizing and can lend an extra... More

You gain not only cultural knowledge but the tour guides bring you to a personal level with the amish people that anything you might have thought is replaced with true understanding and appriciation.
