Idlewild is a beautiful amusement park located in the Laurel Highlands of Ligonier, Pennsylvania. This park offers a good number of rides and includes admission into their water park, Soak Zone. Although, Idlewild does not offer large roller coasters or big thrill rides, it does have a nice selection of rides for people of all ages. This park has a... More

We took our two young kids here and we all had an amazing time. If you go during the summer, go to the water park early and get that out of the way as it is less crowded and you will not have to wait in line long for slides. The park is very clean and they have things for... More

This is such a fun park to visit-we go once each year. It's a good value, especially if you buy a package deal through one of the local motels or hotels. It's smaller than most amusement parks, but is still so much fun! It's great for smaller kids, and still has enough interesting rides for older kids too. And it's... More

We had a wonderful time at this very clean and kid friendly park. My biggest complaint is the price and quality of the food. The food was very expensive for small portions and poor quality. A medium soft drink was $3.59 for about 12 ounces. I forgot to bring sunscreen and had to purchase a small bottle for a whopping... More

Took my grandson to Idlewild for the weekend.. I had visited the park when my children were younger. The park is clean, staff is very nice. The Soak zone is very nice. Prices of food is high, but you can bring your own. Souvenir pricing was reasonable. We had a great time.

Our 4yr old loved that she was big enough to rides the rides. Met the princesses. I think it would have been better to have more princesses out at one time at different areas is the park so it would divide the crowd up. We were 4th in line to view the photos that the park staff took and it... More

It was a fun day at Idlewild, I did not go to the Soakzone because it was too crowded, but we went to tons of fun rides. I have been to Idlewild many times and its age is beginning to show. Some things are in need of a sprucing up, painting etc. Other than that it is a great family... More

I love Idlewid. I love the atmosphere, the rides, the food, the water park and children's rides, hoot n holler, story book forest and more! The park has added a lazy river which is very relaxing. A great way to cool off on a hot day. The park is very well kept up. The children's section is absolutely gorgeous. It's... More
