Great place to hike locally. Several different blazed trails are available that all intersect allowing you to hike different parts of the park fairly easily. Lots of ups and downs on the blazed trails. The park also has a paved, 4 mile, multi-purpose loop trail,...More

There are several sections of the park and my favorite is the 5 mile loop. I use it when training for the Broad Street Run or just for exercise. There are many trails where people walk in the woods.

I have been walking int RCSP for most of my life. From wooded trails some along the stream, to the several mile paved loop - this is a poplar place to walk in good weather. On a good weather day, sunny, not too hot, not...More

I love riding to Ridley creek State Park. The 5 mile loop is a beautiful ride or walk along the creek that is stunning in each season. Whether it is a winter stroll or a bike ride the peaceful solitude of the loop is unmatched....More

A gorgeous and well maintained state park with abundant trails for walkers/hikers of all abilities. The multi purpose loop offers exceptional creekside views for walkers and bikers.

Took a long walk through the wooded area which led to a blacktop path for walking. It was just beautiful with the leaves in full color, extra pretty with the stream. We also checked out the mansion on the property. That was cool , perfect...More

I go to different areas of the creek but our favorite is near the horses. We love it here. We even came to a 3 year old picinic birthday party.

My wife and I walk every morning on the paved road (no cars) beside Ridley Creek. It is beautiful in all seasons. Because the trail is paved, it is good for walkers, runners, bikers, little kids on bikes, and dog walkers. We fall in the...More

The woodwork inside the mansion was very nice. The trails were average, no stunning views. There was not a lot of information about the length or difficulty of the trails, so it was hard to plan your hikes.A lot of the small parking areas fill...More

The 5-mile multi-purpose (paved) trail is my favorite place to roam. It follows the creek and is a nice safe place for a woman alone like me who liked to hike, but isn't up to woodsy trails much anymore. The Colonial Plantation is a lot...More

I think they have horseback riding and the name of the facility is Hidden Valley Farm within Ridley Creek State Park. I believe you can rent horses. If you look up Hidden Valley Farm Ridley Creek SP you'll probably find it.
