We did a family campus tour of this pristine location! Frank Lloyd Wright's Architectural design for this unique location was amazing. We went during 2016 November on Black Friday. It was a chilly mid-day, for a walk-around the campus, nevertheless, the $8 entry fee per person was well worth it. There is so much to take in, if you are... More

It was absolutely gorgeous. Frank Lloyd Wright was a genius. He built this house into the surrounding rocks and waterfall - not just beside it. The guide was very informative and you could tell she loves this place. Takes about an hour. Keep in mind there are about 100 steps total on this tour, including coming back up the path.... More

This is not a wonder of the world, but it is something that you should see at least once in your life. No intros here, I think the house and property can speak for itself. Notes and TIPS: Keep in mind that this could either be very crowded or not during different parts of the year, so try and plan... More

This is a beautiful example of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture. The rooms in the house are not roped off, so you have the feeling of being an actual guest and not just a tourist. It is a marvel. A place I could easily visit again. The staff was friendly and informative. We had lunch at the cafe on sight and... More

We sprung for the In-Depth Tour, so we'd have plenty of time there after making the long drive over from NYC. The main differences between the regular Guided Tour (GT) and the In-Depth Tour (IDT) are: 1. The IDT is first thing in the morning whereas the GTs can be later in the day, 2. The IDT lasts longer, which... More

Thank you for visiting and for your comments. The House is beautiful and if you are a Frank Lloyd Wright fan, the In Depth tour is worth it. Everything should, as you say, enjoy extra time walking around the grounds. The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has approximately 5,000 acres in this area and there are some beautiful trails to walk and... More

This is a wonderful place to visit. It is a little bit of a drive from pittsburg. It is located along PA Route 381 between the villages of Mill Run and Ohiopyle. It is approximately 19 miles south of the Donegal exit (Exit #91) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) or 10 miles north of US Route 40. Once you get... More

Though I grew up not much more than an hour from this world treasure, it took one of my children's field trips to actually fulfill my lifelong dream to visit! Because we were part of a school group, the price was dramatically reduced. Fees for both group and private tours are listed on the website. Though it poured with rain... More

You have to really want to visit the FLW houses, so far from anywhere else as they are. They do live up to expectations though, hidden within the forest and opening up to the nature around them. The tour guides are very honest about the challenges owners faced with their Architect designed homes, the leaky roofs and the apparently quirky... More

We had a Great tour of this Frank Lloyd Wright Designed Home. We had a small group which made it easy to look at all the rooms and our Tour guide was wonderful. This was one of the places on my Bucket List and I was very Happy. Umbrellas were provided when touring the home and grounds during rainy day....
