Quite enjoyable!

We loved learning all about alpacas and being able to interact with them. It was very interesting! It's great for kids too!

In spite of a sleepless night at our hotel, we perked up quite a bit during and after our visit to Eastland Alpacas. First, let me share that this is a family owned farm in the Mount Joy community, and we are not from the area. We tried to pre-arrange an individual tour, and there was a little miscommunication so... More

What a fun place to visit with children! I was amazed at the many fun activities for the children at Eastland Alpaca at the annual open house. It is 2 weekends in the fall - for exact dates you need to visit their website. Besides the friendly alpacas there were barrel train rides, hay rides, alpaca information sessions, and a... More

I emailed Sue to arrange a tour for the two of us; she responded very quickly. The tour is about an hour. We entered various pens and the pasture to interact with the alpacas--there were four new babies and almost a hundred older alpacas, all with interesting faces and different personalities. We were able to hand-feed them and take lots... More

Sue, the owner, is very knowledgeable and will take time with you as you watch and can even interact with the alpacas up close and personal. Then visit her shop for wonderful alpaca goods as well as yarn! Do not miss! Call ahead to arrange the tour.

We went with a group of three adults and three kids aged 10-13. We hoped to meet some alpacas up close and learn a thing or two. Instead, we had the nicest tour from Sue and learned so much about these beautiful, gentle animals. The shop had beautiful high-quality alpaca "wool" products at completely reasonable prices. Best of all, although... More

We took our granddaughter for their open house last fall. She enjoyed seeing the baby Alpaca. The guide provided good information about Alpacas, very educational. The store sells items made from Alpaca wool.

We had a great visit to the Alpaca farm. The animals were surprisingly friendly. They are very well cared for. The owners know all of their names, and there are more than 100. We were there for about 90 minutes.
