Bowman's Hill Wildlife Preserve is a magical spot. It's spectacular in the spring, but amazing any season. It has free parking next to the plant store. You go into the little house and pay your admission to hike the well groomed trails. The house has...More

There actually are a few wild flowers in September. 2.5 miles of easy trails through trees, small meadows and forest. Gift shop has some great books and t-shirts. $6 ($4 seniors) to walk the preserve.

Kudos to the organization for doing all they are to conserve, preserve, propagate and spread awareness of wildflowers. We have loved every visit there - whether to go on one of their guided walks, to buy plants from the nursery or to shop from the...More

What a wonderful place to visit for the afternoon! When you get there, head straight to the visitors center and buy a ticket. They'll give you a map and highlight what areas are particularly beautiful at the time that you're there. A few places I...More

This is basically just a number of walking trails. There are a number of heavily wooded moderate walking trails, some steep. The trails are named after flowers, but there are almost no flowers along the way. There is a nursery with plants for sale. The...More

A friend of mine is a photography buff who has spoken highly of this site, so when I spotted a Groupon offer for it, I quickly made my purchase. Too bad I hadn't checked beforehand to know the Visitor's Center isn't open on Mondays, so...More

Lovely place to spend a few hours. Several miles of walking paths that are well laid out and maintained. Places to sit are positioned nicely to enjoy views. Especially enjoyed the wildflowers, butterflies, and stream by the pond/meadow. Nice selection of native wildflowers and plants...More

Surprising amount of diversity, not just the tower, flower sale and gift shop, but trails and gardens. Enjoyed a quick ride around the property and found an area with a pond, groomed trails and gardens. Great photo site, and a real surprise. Lots of walking...More

There is parking available on the site. If there isn't enough there is additional parking down the hill and they probably arrange for a shuttle. Enjoy! Beautiful spot for a wedding.
