At both Cucumber Falls and the Main Falls, the sound of rushing water is so soothing. Don't rush your time here - talk a walk across the railroad bridge (now a pedestrian/bike path) and step into the woods on the far side of the Yough....More

Cucumber Falls, natural water slide. Lovely campground and workers. Nice place to keep cool, just wished I lived closer! Spent the night there and had a good time.

Great place to take the kids for biking/hiking. Water is still chilly for swimming but not bad for a quick wading experience. Beautiful trails and Cucumber Falls is very pretty and serene.

The Visitor's Center is so new (1 1/2 years) that it doesn't appear on many town or GAP trail maps. However, it is not to be missed -- a modern "green" building with great exhibits and an outstanding view of Ohiopyle Falls.

Beautiful park! Stayed and the state park campground memorial day weekend while hiking and paddling. Great weather, tons to see and do. Recommend hiking the great gorge trail and seeing cucumber falls. Camp ground was full but nice not overly crowded.

I loved this park. Excellent hiking (including not too rigorous hiking) where you get to hike to waterfalls. I was there for a holiday weekend, but it wasn't too crowded. If you like camping, the park's campground was clean and accessible. The water spigots are...More

There are minimal shops in town and a few restaurants, some with outdoor seating . This is an excursion for those who enjoy the outdoors. It's pretty easy to walk around the river and in town and the bike trail without much... More

There are no antique shops in Ohiopyle itself. The town is very small and you'll find mainly take-out and very casual restaurants as well as river outfitters. I believe there are several antique shops from 1/2 hour to 45... More
