We have rafted the Upper Yough twice with Ohiopyle Trading Post (OTP). We went back to them the second time, because they did such a great job the first time. We can't wait to go back and see Joel, Jeremy, and Co. again! We live about 5 hours away from this region. We wake up early on Friday Morning and... More

We did this trip with our 3 kids, 18,16 and 11 -- I wanted to make a full day of it so we decided on the Pedal/Paddle -- 9 miles up and 9 miles back on the river. Stevie was super friendly and accommodating in setting us up on our bikes and sharing some tips for the ride. It took... More

I think the guide-to-guest ratio is higher with this outfit then with other companies going down the river, price was also competitive. Our group opted for a guide in the raft run of the Lower Yough in early Sept. I was on the fence about whether to go with the guided option or not. The run itself feels easy (but... More

Please know that Lower and Higher Yough are the rivers with the rapids. The middle Yough although you think that logically the water's rapids would increase by title. That is not that case. Lower is for beginners and first time rapids riders. Middle is something smoother, like floating in a raft with no rapids. And the Higher Yough is for... More

We had a great time rafting the Lower Yough in a "duckie" Labor Day weekend. Chaz was very knowledgeable about the river and was there when we needed help after flipping our boat. The guides were personable and the trip was well organized with a much appreciated lunch on the river. Thanks for making it a fun adventure!

Visited Ohiopyle Trading Post with a couple friends in August 2016. We had a FANTASTIC time! The group was small, us and 2 others, and the river was practically deserted. Our guide, Clint, was exceptional. He was very knowledgable and entertaining. I have been down the Lower Yough many times and this was probably the easiest (from a paddling standpoint)... More

Our group goes here every year for our annual whitewater rafting trip. We don't get a guide most of us have enough experience. The briefing we get is always enjoyable.(we always see if they stay the same or change up speech) We always have a blast and the staff is awesome.

Had a blast whitewater rafting on the Lower Yough. The class 3 rapids where perfect for the adults and older teens. Our guides did a great job educating us and guiding us through the rapids. The mid-way stop for lunch was a nice touch. Glad we chose Ohiopyle Trading Post for our outfitter. We will use them again next time... More
