Spent the last 2 days skiing at Blue Mountain Resort. The conditions were top notch and they kept the trails well maintained. As the day go busier they opened more lifts to keep the line ups to a minimum. Great place for beginners and intermediate skiers. Staff at the ticket sales and lifts were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

My son and I traveled up here from DE so it was about 2 hours away which is a manageable drive. We purchased tickets online beforehand which was convenient and saved a couple dollars... only complaint there is that the customer service line (we parked at the upper lodge) was only one person working so we had to wait to... Although one cannot compare mountains in Pennsylvania to those in Utah or Colorado, or even Vermont, Blue is an outstanding mountain resort with a tireless crew ensuring the best experience for patrons. Blue has the best run in PA, it's double black diamond Razor's Edge, along with nice long beginner and blue runs. It's ski race training program is exceptional,... More

Two friends and myself went decided to go night tubing mid week. We had a such a fun time! We had a terrific dinner then off to the slopes. The staff were friendly, helpful and had us laughing which added to an already hysterical time! We felt like kids again! After our tubing we sat next to the fire with... More

Went the other weekend with typical absurd crowds, BUT no one is allowed to bring any type of food or drink to the mountain. People getting hassled and made to dump all coffee when walking in. I've never seen anything like this it's actually really funny that they think this will benefit them. Do you want to bring food to... More

Had a great day on the slopes at Blue. The ride is about 1 1/2 hrs from Philly with half being on the highway. Check out prices online before heading to mountain. You can save a few dollars there or by purchasing lift tkts at Buckman's. Mountain is set up with a lodge at both top and bottom. Bottom lodge... More

My kids had two sessions (morning and afternoon) in the adventure club program. While not cheap, I really appreciated the structure. I basically just handed the kids off in the morning at 10, and the staff fitted them in gear. The hour break at lunch was just enough to have lunch together and then they were back in until 3.... Hello, currently I've been working in the tubing department here at Blue Mt for 2 years. This post is more of tip sheet for the public that's looking to come tubing here at Blue! I know a lot of people, including myself use trip advisor to plan their next vacation, family activity, or even dinner, so I decided to give... More

Having 39 trails is great to spread out the mass of people on a busy weekend, and a lodge at the top and bottom with free shuttle are also nice. I did find it incredible that there are only 3 toilets in the men's room in the Valley Lodge for all the people that visit. Fast food was expensive at... More

While the skiing was good on Friday, February 17, the overall customer experience was poor, based on the 'deal' offered for meals. We purchased the $40 upgrade/meal at the Slopeslide Grill anticipating something nicer than being jammed into the cafeteria on a holiday weekend. Holding out till 2 PM for lunch (to avoid lunch rush), we were told the was... More
