Fantastic nationality rooms in the Cathedral of Learning in Oakland. When we went there were people dressed according to the nationality. It was a great visit during the holiday season with special performances.

I took two reluctant teens to see the Nationality Rooms at Pitt. They were both impressed and enjoyed the visit. This is worth a stop.

Very inspiring, enjoyed walking around to see classrooms that I never have seen before. Go there when it's less crowded.

Went here because some other tourists recommended it. Very glad we took the (short) bus ride from downtown to Oakland to go here. The rooms are impressive and well-preserved. $4 each for a key to the locked first-floor rooms -- there are more rooms on...More

The learning Nationality rooms are spread on two floors of the imposing Cathedral of learning tower. One you can visit for free, while the other one is paying. Having not much time, we opted only for the free one and it was quite enough. You...More

I highly recommend another hidden secret of Pittsburgh. For 30 years I have taken visitors to the Nationality rooms and no one was ever disappointed. I recommend contacting them about their policy on pets.
