It is always a good idea to go to the strip early, before noon (as some shops close early). Every shop has something different and theres lots of good eats. Id suggest the Polish Deli. They have great dishes, but its not open all day so make sure you get there by noon-ish. The Strip District of Pittsburgh is a... More

This is by far one of my favorite places to visit ton the weekend. You can walk up and down the bustling street and see all kinds of vendors: flowers, food, dessert, sunglasses, etc. If you like to people watch and window shop, this is definitely a stop for you!

Pretty cool place, lots of different stores and items. Some cool restaurants as well. I suggest getting there early, because parking can be an issue. Something you must see when visiting Pittsburgh.

The Strip District is a unique and welcoming place Saturday and Sunday mornings. There are many restaurants and small eateries to choose from for breakfast. If you are looking for cheap Pittsburgh sports clothes, hats, etc. this is the place to go. The Strip District is not the cleanest or safest location to visit late at night.

Started at Primanti Bros for lunch. Then off to the fish market and some shopping topped off with a drink at a pizza place. All the workers from the restaurants to shops to road side stands were so friendly!!! Such an eclectic area. Absolutely loved it. Need to go back for the nightlife.

Love the vibe in this place. You have so many choices from the different chefs, so you can't go wrong. A tad pricey for what you get, but that doesn't stop me from coming back time and time again.

I had a great meal at Lydia's, but was a bit disappointed by the Strip, enjoyed the people watching but not much to buy or take home if you are a tourist in the city

We just moved here from Ohio and can't say enough good things about the Strip District. My kids are 11 and 9 years old and love the afternoons we spend roaming there. It is an eclectic "mecca" of restaurants, markets, speciality stores, pittsburgh gear shops, etc. Definitely recommend visiting the Olive Tap (gourmet oils and vinegars), the Allegheny Coffee &... One must visit the strip when in the Burgh. So many great places to eat and shop. Something for everyone. The meat and fish markets take you back to a time long ago. Love this place.

Parked right in the center of the strip, which made it convenient to drop off our purchases instead of carrying around. We started with the polish deli to get some REAL Kielbasa and halushki, next was a visit to the macaroni company for otherwise unobtainable lunch meats, and some home made bread. Had to stop by Yinzers for some Pittsburgh... More
