After a busy morning at the Frick Museum, we adjourned to the final resting place of tge Fricks and many other Pittsburgh industrialists and citizenry. It is a huge picturesque cemetery, located adjacent to Frick Park. It has everything a picturesque cemetery should have, winding...More

Homewood cemetery is a beautiful, hilly, lawn-park cemetery with amazing art and history. Impressive mausoleums, huge old trees, sculptures, wildlife. This place is a gem in the city. I go for long walks here in all seasons. I often see deer, turkey, groundhogs, and squirrels.

If you must be interred in the Greater Pittsburgh Area, look no more!! Conveniently located in the east side of Pittsburgh, it offers something for everyone. Ample park, really quiet, with lots of big trees and chirping birds. Just idyllic...

My husband has family on his father's side buried here so we visit often. We find it to be a nice place to walk. Just remember where the car is parked as this cemetery is huge!

This cemetery is actually a history tour, with such gorgeous mausoleums, statues, crypts and tombstones. Many well known figures from Pittsburgh's past are buried here, and the grounds are very large and well kept.

Great place to see beautiful examples of architecture even if it is a cemetery. You never know who you will find buried here!

Homewood is a beautiful, peaceful (duh!), hilly cemetery near the universities. You can see how the rich folk honour their dead -- interesting designs and ornaments.

I too visited the cemetery after my sixth visit to the Frick House. It is very hard to imagine being able to see Martha's grave from the house with all the growth that has taken place since the late 1800's. Millionaire's row is like viewing...More

It's strange to have a cemetery available for review....but ok. This is a beautiful final resting place, where members of the Frick and Heinz families are buried. For sports fans, Pirates Hall of Fame 3B Pie Traynor is buried here.
