This might be the most awesome Museum in Pittsburgh. To start with, it's absolutely free. But if you're over the age of 40, you will recognize more than 80% of the bikes from your childhood. Remember those weird banana bikes with the gear shift in...More

We were in Pittsburgh for an overnight visit and wanted somewhere unique to visit. This place was over the top cool. We could have probably spent twice as long as we did there to really see and absorb all that the place had to offer....More

Went to BH for a benefit a few weeks ago. Loved the spirit of the place with its astounding collection of vintage bikes, many of which are spectacular and/or peculiar. Little commercial presence; pure creativity and love for this historic form of transportation.

This place is enormous -- with an incredible selection of bicycles. All types, makes, models, and colors! The staff is very friendly and able to share great details on many of the bikes -- many of which are works of art!

It is free. There is a donation box if you feel moved to donate. My husband bought a couple of shirts and talked to the proprietor for a bit. He was happy to chat and to sell the shirts.
