Every visit here can be amazing. With the tours to the international cultural rooms, to the breathtaking architecture, to going to the top floor and seeing wonderful sites of the city.. do it all and don't forget to ask lots of questions. I take all my outside friends and family here as well as anyone who I know who is... More

We visited this place over Christmas and it was all decorated for the holidays. Each different class room was decorated in the style of the country it represented, according to their customs. The kids loved it too. It's great to visit during other times other than the holidays, as each classroom is designed around different countries. Very reasonably priced also,... More

The cathedral is one of the place you must see when in Pittsburgh. It expresses the feelings of a city that has come to life again at the end of the iron and steel period. it has a great symbolic meaning and it is also a beautiful place by itself. amazing view from the higher floors.

We learned of this place from a friend who doesn't even live here! It is now a go-to place for all our visitors to Pittsburgh. However, although we've gone on weekends, we have yet to see any of the rooms on the lower level. The website says they close at 2:30pm, but we've been there by 1pm and have not... More

This "cathedral" has stunning architecture, both in the main hall and in the little themed rooms. When when when some places were closed for construction but the effect was still stunning. There is the requirement to climb stairs to get at the upper levels but it's worth the climb. The inside is heated, so it was a nice escape from... More

The Nationality Rooms were decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed the docent describing the Christmas traditions of each country. I could just imagine being a student and having the opportunity to have a class in one of the rooms. They are beautiful representations of each nations architecture.. It is amazing that each country built and paid for their room.

Beautiful building for a great view of Pittsburgh! Take the elevators all the way up for an amazing view and a photo op. The architecture is also amazing, but make sure you don't get in the students' way!

Went for a visit after the Natural History Museum. Showing up at 4:45 is still a great chance to see some gorgeous gothic architecture, but it's a major fail when it comes to seeing the fantastic nationality rooms. The Irish room on the main floor has a small window that gives you a taste of the cool things you missed... More

I went to Pitt so am a little biased...took the family to see it and tour the international rooms. It's a cool way to spend a couple of hours and walk around Oakland.

We should have allowed more time, there are so many rooms, with little time to linger. The tour itself went too fast.
