We enjoyed a show at this small but quaint theater and felt that we could experience the show more intimately because of its size. Our seats were great...and it appeared as if every seat offered a great view, but it was the sound that impressed...More

Hadn't been to the Byham Theater since it was the Fulton back in the 1980s - not for any particular reason but just that nothing had brought me into this particular venue. Had tickets to see Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles in April, 2017....More

Have enjoyed numerous shows at the Byham. It's smaller than Heinz Hall or the Benedum, but more cozy and personal. It's in walking distance of several parking garages, and it's a very busy area with all the restaurants nearby. The seats are comfy, and the...More

Smaller venue than the nearby Benedum that provides a good view almost everywhere. However be cautious with selecting seats in the orchestra area. For whatever reason, (I think because they added another row of seating later) the seating is not alternating in row B and...More

This is one of the most beautiful Theaters that I have visited. With the intricate details in all the moldings and chandeliers, it was obviously a gathering place for the upper class. We saw the King and I and the sound was fantastic through out...More

The wife and I went to "A Musical Christmas Carol" at the Byham yesterday. Let me make this a short review by saying this was the best theater production we have ever attended! The theater is modestly sized so that you feel a connection with...More

I'd never been to the Byham Theater before and it's a beautiful venue that's more intimate than the Benedum Center, which makes it great for a concert or theater performance. I'm glad that I'll be going back just a week after my first trip, since...More

Wonderful smaller older theater with parking garage right across the street. $7 event parking very reasonable. Uber available also. Docents helpful.

We have going to the Byham theater for the past 9 years to see 'A Christmas Carol'. The venue is very nice - well maintained, beautiful and clean bathrooms, comfortable seating and small enough that all the seats are nice for the performances - although...More

Entrance to the Byham Theatre is near the corner of 6th St. and Fort Duquesne Blvd, next to the Renaissance hotel. There's also a box office next door to pick-up your Will Call tickets, and it opens two hours before the show. The theater itself...More

Yes, there are concession stands that provide beverages (soft drinks and alcoholic) as well as candy / snack foods. However, they are to be consumed outside the seating area. At least they were for the show I attended.

I, personally, enjoy dressing up a bit. However, you see a bit of everything from suit and tie to jeans and t-shirt.

Of course. This theater is very intimate, so there are very few "bad" seats, in the sense that you can clearly see the stage. As for acoustics, there are really no bad seats.
