This is a very well runned county park. They have some rescued animals, seasonal butterfly house, fox, hawks, deer, eagle, & vultures. They also have a hut which has a pond of local fish. It's located right on the Schuylkill River which makes for great hikes.

I saw a donkey with what looked like a massive tumor growing from his/her neck, and a guy throwing white bread pieces over the fence to turkeys. I guess that's how they are being fed?! The rabbits in small cages looked miserable and sort of delirious. One wolf ran back and forth in his/her cage, bored out of their mind,... More

My grandsons, ages 5 & 2, love going here to see the animals. We go every time they are in town! I also took my sister here with her grandsons and they loved it too! The staff is friendly and knowledgable and it gives the kids a close up and personal look at many different animals! A nice, relaxing place... More

The event was quite a bit of fun. They have a number of animals and birds, which range from common farm animals to wolves, deer, hawks,... More

We love this little place. Our son loves animals and asks to go here often. It is a very low key free activity where he can observe many different animals. Addtionally, he enjoys watching the boats on the river and running free in the open grace. There is a picnic area down by the river and a boat launch. While... More

This is by far one of the best Parks / Wildlife Centers I have ever visited. The Park is located on Route 113, not far from where I currently reside. The grounds are immaculate. The Staff and Rangers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Each Species has a perfect habitat and are extremely well cared for by a devoted Staff. My... More
