Our goal was to grab a lunch in which we could enjoy on our hike. We had beautiful weather and it wasn't over crowded. We bought fresh Romano cheese, bread and blueberries.

Mostly out of state and out of country vendors, hardly a "Monroe" farmers market., As with any farmers market, seasonal conditions dictate quality and quantity of items offered for sale

The Farmers Market is not big. It is located right in the middle of town, around a park. Local crafts, produce, and bakery items. We spent a delightful hour.

I got herb plants at a wonderful price, three for the price of one. Herbs can winter over in the house. I'll be going back for seasonal vegetables.
