My family was there August 1. No social distancing at all. Pictures clearly show this. Kids had fun. But at what risk!

Hello, thank you for reaching out, we have implemented a code of conduct to ensure the safety of guests and our staff. Our waterparks are operating at 50% capacity to reduce the number of people inside the waterpark. Face coverings are required in all places with the only exceptions being when someone has an underlying health condition or if someone is in the water or eating. Guests are asked to stay 6 feet apart (physical distancing) from other parties at all times. Your feedback is important to us and we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with that. We would like the opportunity to discuss your experience further as we strive to provide the best experience for our guests. Please send us a copy of your review along with your contact information to feedback@camelbackresort.com

We have been bringing our four children here for several years and have attended a least a dozen times. We like the park because the staff is friendly and helpful and the park is clean and safe. There is a wide variety of activities for children of various ages and the ski lift is a nice way to enjoy the view of the mountain. We visited the park for the first time this season in the beginning of August and our experience did not match the last several years. Although I realize that this season is difficult for a business, there are many issues that need to be addressed by them. We rented a cabana by the olympic pool (like we always do). I was disappointed on several levels. First, the cost of the cabana was over double the cost in the past. We have purchased a cabana each and every time we visited and many times last minute and the price was never above $180 regardless when we purchased it. This time it was $400. When we signed in, the paper showed what the other families that had purchased the cabanas paid and many of them paid $180 and some $300 - for the same cabanas. When I questioned them, I was told that they have a roving fee that now increases the closer to the date (right now the same cabana can be $600). It was never this way in the past. I was told that the park was 50% capacity. The park became insanely busy at 1pm. The olympic pool had the same number of lounge chairs as in years past and each was occupied. The pool was filled to capacity - with only two lifeguards. There were many men in the pool just wearing street clothes and their wet mask around their neck. Many people had no idea how to swim and were coughing and spitting the water they inhaled. There was a complete lack of control from the staff and no monitoring at all. Half of the ladies bathroom was closed the entire day and were not cleaned as the day progressed. That left four bathroom stalls for the majority of the park with the dressing area. Luckily a staff member showed me another private bathroom near the bar. I don't think we will return again this season and that is very disappointing. The varying cost of the cabana is not appropriate. I feel like the business is trying to take advantage of people willing to pay for the cabana to make up on the decrease in sales and this is not acceptable. Social distancing, mask wearing in public spaces and 50% capacity at each individual ride/pool needs to be enforced regularly. Hopefully, the park can figure out how to improve the customer experience so that it can be done in a manner that is safe for everyone, enjoyable for families and cost appropriate.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate this. We are sorry to hear about this experience. Cabana prices vary depending on the day and the location of the cabana inside the park. We continue to update these protocols and assure all of these areas have been addressed. The code of conduct on our property that requires Camelbeach to operate at 50% capacity and requires physical distancing for all parties, we have staff throughout the resort reinforcing this. Your feedback is important to us and we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with that. We would like the opportunity to discuss your stay further as we strive to provide the best experience for our guests. Please send us a copy of your review to feedback@camelbackresort.com

We go to camel beach every year and love it except this year!!! There was absolutely no social distancing!! People were walking around not wearing a mask and they said they limited how many tickets they sell. It was more crowded yesterday and has been in all the years That we have gone!!! The wave pool people were on top of each other! Paid over $300 for 10 people to go!! We were very disappointed!

Please know that we have a code of conduct on our property that requires face coverings in all public areas and enforces physical distancing for all parties, this includes waiting in line, traveling around the park, and in lounging areas. Camelbeach is operating at 50% capacity to abide by local and state government orders. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed in your experience, but we hope you plan to visit us next year to continue the tradition!
