I did not camp at this property so I do not have any information regarding camping. For an afternoon hike I did enjoy the trail to the right as you enter the park ( sorry I forgot the name ) it is clearly marked with signage. The trail is pretty well groomed, it can be a bit challenging in spots... More

Good sized lake. We rented a pontoon boat from the on site business. Enjoyed the day boating and swimming from the boat as well as some decent "beach" areas. No sand, it's all rock. Saw plenty of wildlife as well. Appears you can boat in and camp out around the lake as there were numbered sites...not many level. Boat launch... More

Booked our campsites from the website with never being in this campground before. I wish we would have drove through before we booked to camp. We reserved sites 75 and 77 for tent camping. Site 75 was all gravel with just a very small patch of grass, not big enough to put a tent up in. Camping in the gravel... More

Tionesta Recreational Area Campground isn't for the die-hard roughing it camper, but for a family of four on a 4 day weekend it is perfect. If you want some of the comforts of home they have electric and water at most campsites. There are trails to walk, a beach within walking distance and of course Tionesta is just a few... More

The Tionesta Dam area is all around a beautiful place. Enjoy boating, fishing or camping on the lake. Just below the dam, is the outflow area. Great fishing, quiet and relaxing camping area.

We drove out just to take a look around. The water was still frozen when we were there even thought the weather was getting warmer. It was so beautiful and peaceful!

This is a slice of heaven in NW PA. Beautiful water, water side, boat-only access campsites. So peaceful. Fishing, waterskiing, jetskiing, baoting, kayaking and canoing. You can rent pontoon boats and slips at the main dock as well. $3.00 boat launch fee on the honor system. Lake is managed by the Army Corp of Engineers.
