The LeMoynes built this beautiful home and were leaders in the Pittsburgh area. Helped slaves escape to freedom and is recognized as a stop on the Underground Railroad. Also houses the local historical society.

This was my 2nd visit and enjoyed again. Learned different things from each guide. Interesting family with connections to the underground RR. Nice home that stayed in the family.

The stories of the recent discoveries make everything even more exciting. The humanity of Dr. Lemoyne in those troubled times... great information that is not found in the history books in school.
