We were traveling thru the area in mid-October and stopped to do a little hiking before continuing. I had read about this spot on the Only In Your State website. We saw no vehicles around the station--it appeared to be unoccupied even though we were...More

This a nice area to see, if you happen to be in this area while sight seeing. It appears to be a poplar place with the fishermen. We saw a number of small boats on the lake with their fisherman passengers. We however did not...More

There are some campsites that have full hook-up. Large state park. Swimming but it is in a lake. Fishing and kayaking. Only a few miles from Wellsboro a small town with a lot of history. Not far from the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon.

We visited Hill Creek State Park and enjoyed the lake, hiking trails and campground. Rest rooms were clean and the trails well cared for. Ample areas to fish, canoe and/or kayak. Park rangers were helpful and accommodating. We plan a return visit soon.

My husband and I just wanted to get away from it all, and there were only two parks in the state park system that had a dog friendly cabin available. Because we had never been here, we booked the one in Hills Creek. The cabin...More

I really loved this State Park. It is perfect for dog lovers! The only problem is there are a lot of road closures right now due to construction in the park so you can't travel past the cabins.

This is a nice hidden jem outside of Wellsboro, Pa. The staff at the visitor center are friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the modern cabins and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean well kept they were.

Sorry we just visited the beach, not the campground. I'm sure if you were to call the park office, they would be able to tell you.
